Many businesses understand the positive impact that having fully trained Mental Health First Aiders has in the workplace.
In addition to Workplace Training and one-to-one therapy sessions we also train Mental Health First Aiders in Wales and England
What is Mental Health First Aider Training?
- MentaI Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
- MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis – and even potentially stop a crisis from happening.
- You’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.
- You’ll also learn how to empower someone to access the support they might need for recovery or successful management of symptoms. This could include self-help books or websites, accessing therapy services through their GP, school or place of work, online self-referral, support groups and more.
- What’s more you’ll gain an understanding of how to support positive wellbeing and tackle stigma in the world around you.

Read full testimonial"Carol came to our office to provide a taster session for the techniques that can be used for people who experience stress and anxiety which in our workplace is a common theme and quite a lot of us including myself experience some level of stress during their career. Carol had provided a very powerful insight into this problem and demonstrated number of techniques to relieve stress and re-focus our minds.
I to this day still practice one of my favourite exercises that Carol showed us.
Thank you, Carol, you showed us many useful techniques and you taught us lots of valuable exercises" -

“Thanks so much for an extremely interesting and informative course. It is hard to use the phrase 'I enjoyed it' as that seems a strange thing to say about what can be such difficult topics! However, I really did enjoy the experience of learning from you, and I am truly grateful for you sharing your experiences and insight in a way that I feel was above and beyond what the course requirement would have been. Hopefully now I have gained a skill set that will allow me to help others in the future.” - Anon - Phase 3 Electrical Ltd.
